13th HOOK DOWN, HORSEFLY COVE
This is a gorgeous little bay with perfect
pee islands for Chevy to romp and play on. We are tucked into the bay with an
island as our security blanket. We have it all to ourselves. The sun comes and
goes; we sleep tight, while the anchor chain growls on the rocky bottom. I find
it comforting as long as I can hear it growling just a little as we are
secure. Put the crab trap out NO
LUCK.
We take a fast run in “Ravens” to the head
of Green Inlet see Mother Nature in action. There is a tidal lagoon and the
tide has fallen now. Tons and tons of water are spilling into
the inlet from the lagoon above. IT TAKES YOUR BREATH AWAY WITH ITS POWER.

We take another day to appreciate this
great anchorage. We leave the radio set on 09 and 16 not a peep on it from
traveling boaters that are in transit out on PRINCESS ROYAL CHANNEL. This is
the only root north on the inside passage. It rains hard in the night but there
clear patches in the morning. We float in still glacial water a perfect
reflection echoed of OA. You could take a picture of the boat turn it upside
down and not know which the right way is up.
